Lake 1

ISLAND LAKE, CATFISH/CARP

  1. No dogs allowed on the premises whatsoever.
  2. No children under the age of 12 years whether accompanied or not unless prior arrangement is made.
  3. No ground bait, loose feed, P.V.A bags etc… hook baits only.
  4. No live bait whatsoever.
  5. Frozen dead bait is allowed.
  6. Barb less, single hooks only. No stainless steel.
  7. Minimum 30” landing net.
  8. Adequate Unhooking mat compulsory.
  9. Minimum 12 lb break strain line.
  10. No Braid or Dacron mainline to be used. Hook length only.
  11. No keep nets.
  12. No more than two rods per person.
  13. A current rod licence must be in force and produced upon request.
  14. Do not fish over or through the reeds and or plant life.
  15. Fish only from the designated swims.
  16. Do not use multiple swims unless you vacate the previous swim taking all your tackle etc… With you.
  17. Your ticket allows you to use the whole venue with exception to the Specimen water. Ensure you adhere to the applicable rules allocated to the water if you decide to move.
  18. All vehicles including push bikes to be parked in the designated car parks only and are not to venture on to any other part of the estate.
  19. Radios, personal stereos and the like are not permitted unless used with headphones and must not be heard by the next swim.
  20. No trees or shrubs are to be cut or damaged. This means also for using as a rest for nets, rods, etc…
  21. No spectators allowed on the catfish lake unless pre-arranged.
  22. All fish caught on this lake to be returned as soon as possible to the spot they were landed in.
  23. No peanuts or nuts generally, on or off the hook.
  24. No litter or waste tackles to be left on the banks. All rubbish to be taken away with you.
  25. No glass allowed on site.
  26. No wading.
  27. The owners or their representatives do not accept any responsibility or liability for cars, property, or accidents
  28. We reserve the right to add or amend the rules as the situation arises.
  29. No spinners or lures.
  30. Boilies are allowed as hook baits only. There will be no lose feed of boilies. 
  31. Hours of fishing are dawn till dusk. Do not be on the premises during the hours of darkness unless you have booked a night session. 
  32. Bookings and reserved pegs take priority over those that just turn up. If you want to be certain of your peg you need to book in advance. (Link to booking form) 
  33. Net all fish when landing. There will be no swinging in of fish. 
  34. All nets, mats, cradles to be dipped in the disinfectant tank on arrival. These are situated at each entrance being a grey tank. 
  35. Ground baits, Luncheon meat and other tinned meats, High oil pellets, glugs and other dips, Nuts etc are not allowed at Pondwood. Leave them in your car or better still at home.
Middle Lake 2

ISLAND LAKE, CATFISH/CARP

  1. No dogs allowed on the premises whatsoever.
  2. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult on a one-to-one basis unless permission give by Pondwood staff on each occasion. It is not a given for all time when permission is granted.
  3. No ground bait, loose feed, PVA bags etc… Hook baits only.
  4. Floating baits are allowed if control and quantity is exercised.
  5. Barb less, single hooks only. No stainless steel or crushed barbs.
  6. Minimum 16” landing net for smaller fish, 30” minimum for larger fish. One net per swim.
  7. Unhooking mat compulsory.
  8. Minimum 6lb breaking strain.
  9. No braid or Dacron not even to hook length.
  10. No keep nets.
  11. No more than two rods per person. If a swim is shared then one rod per person, maximum of 2 persons per swim.
  12. A current rod licence must be in force and be produced on request.
  13. Do not fish over or through the reeds or plant life.
  14. Fish only from the designated swims.
  15. Do not use multiple swims unless you vacate the previous swim taking all your tackle etc… With you.
  16. Your ticket allows you to fish the whole complex with exception to the Specimen water. Other rules to applicable areas apply and must be adhered to.
  17. All vehicles including push bikes to be parked in designated areas and are not to venture on to any other part of the estate.
  18. Radios and personal stereos etc… are not permitted unless used with head phones and must not be heard by the next swim.
  19. No trees or shrubs are to be cut or damaged. This means also for using as a rest for nets, rods etc…
  20. Only one spectator per paying fisherman will be allowed.
  21. All fish caught on this lake must be returned as soon as possible to the spot they were caught in.

  34. All fish to be returned to the water right away.
Snake Water 3

CARP, TENCH, IDE, BARBEL, CHUBB, ROACH, BREAM.

1.     No dogs allowed whatsoever on the entire estate.
2.     Loose feed in moderation No Ground bait allowed.
3.     At any time or after a match do not throw your left over or unwanted baits into the water. Take it away with you.
4.     Boilies are allowed but only as hook bait. No lose feeding of boilies allowed whatsoever.
5.     No floating baits.
6.     Barbless single hooks only. No stainless steel.
7.     No ledger fishing or similar. Float fishing only.
8.     No more than 1 rod/pole per person.
9.     No litter or tackle to be left on the bank. Take it home with you.
10. A current rod licence must be held and shown if requested.
11. Fish only from the designated swims/platforms.
12. No glass allowed on site.
13. No wading.
14. All nets must be dried before use.
15. Use only the main paths and access paths to swims and other areas.
16. Maintain respect for the rights of other anglers not to have you disturb their fish in any way.
17. Do not walk the furthest bank.
18. Individual swim boundaries are the far bank to your swim bank and from wire to wire.
19. No trees shrubs or reeds to be cut or removed whatsoever. If you have a complaint, then see Mick or Josh.
20. Radios or personal equipment of that ilk must not be used unless headphones are used and any sound must not permeate beyond your swim.
21. All vehicles must be parked in the allocated parking areas and in a way that is sympathetic with the use and parked not to inconvenience other anglers using that facility.
22. Absolutely no cars beyond those allocated areas. Cars must not venture anywhere else on the estate of off road/track that is applicable to the designation.
23. Each car park will have an entry/exit to the walkways. Do not park your car in front or close to this area as it will cause interference to those anglers that need to access, in particular disabled anglers.
24. The owners and or their representatives accept no responsibility or liability for cars, property or accidents outside of our normal scope of standard liability insurance. Any infringement of the rules will render even this facility void.
25. We reserve the right to amend the rules as situations arise.
26. No braid or Dacron Mainline.
27. Carp tackle not to be used on this water.
28. If a rod or tackle is deemed to be unsuitable its use will not be allowed.
29. A suitable landing net must be used to land all fish without exception and one net per person fishing.
30. No nuts or peanuts to be used on or off the hook.
31. Hours of fishing on this water are dawn till dusk. No exceptions. That includes setting and packing up.
32. All fish must be netted, do not swing in.
33. All nets, mats and cradles to be dipped in the disinfectant tank on arrival. Tanks are situated at each entrance are grey.
34. Ground baits, Luncheon meat and other tinned meats, High oil pellets, glugs and other dips, nuts of various types are not allowed at Pondwood. Leave them in your car or better still at home.

 (ADDITIONAL MATCH RULES ONLY)

 35 4 Keepnets are required for a match. All must be stretched out and laid on the bank on arrival having been dipped in the disinfectant tank 15 minutes before the start of the match. One net for large Carp, one net for small Carp and a third for silver fish. The fourth net is in case any net exceeds the allowed limit. 
36.A maximum of 50 lb to be kept in any one net. An allowance over in each net of 10 pounds that will not be counted, and should a net weight exceed this amount the net contents will be disqualified. All fish will remain in the nets until the end of the match. Should you decide to leave early under no circumstances must the fish be put back as this may change the catch rate of the angler next to you. Instead if it is necessary that you leave early nominate a friend to empty the net or nets for you at the end of the match. 
 37.Fish must not be kept out of water for a longer period than is necessary to weigh and put back the fish.
 38.Match duration not to exceed 6 hours.
 39.Do not walk from swim to swim as this could be misconstrued as fish walking. If you need to go and talk to someone you must ask for permission from that person and first use the back path before entering the swim path.
 40. All fish to be netted. No swing and catch
 41. For silver and smaller fish do not weigh more than 30lb at a time.

Woodland Lake 4
  1. No dogs allowed on the premises whatsoever.
